I love rain storms, crashing waves, closeness with those I love, emotional intelligence, connection that touches 'hearts', a Christian faith that does the same, 'reflection', scenic trails, I also enjoy many of Gods blessings, First among them has been our 2 children, now grown. I am passionate about spirit and soul searching communication with those who intrinsically "dig deeper", I am rather intense (more on the solid rational side), I value knowing what is unique about others, particularly those who might write me from a site such as this. I am a kid at heart and enjoy fun and laughter,motor-cross, water sports, travel, Gods beautiful nature and animals (especially fond of Persian cats). I rarely engage in my personal interests due to time constraints (responsibilities, etc.). However, I do desire and anticipate that this can change with a similar minded soul mate.
I truly enjoy the beauty of another soul that is rich in depth and inspired by Gods love, prayer and worship. My apologies, I only reply to those in the USA and Canada.
I value being sensitive, giving, flaws included. I seek a transparent, inspiring, empowering and prayerful journey of mutual caring.
I believe that the more we learn, the more we will understand how little we really know of the immeasurable beauties that exist, particularly those found in Christ and in others. I like to cultivate these things.
It is not what a person does, but who one is 'deep down', which I look forward to finding out and valuing most. To me the essence of relationship, is found in the pervading, 'heart felt' mental, emotional, spiritual and physical motivations & aspirations derived and/or integral to that relationship. Hopefully emulating beyond that relationship. I definitely am a work in progress.
Here is some of what you could expect to exist in my life, I would love to hear about what 'touches' your heart and other interests, if I might be suited (so please tell me in your profile or message if you write me).
Intuitive; optimistic; non-conventional; down to earth, prefer the 'road less travelled'; genuine; analytic; an introvert deep down, yet in a social setting would look more like an extrovert; love the outdoors, enjoy both relaxing and rather 'fast' sports (not excessively EXTREME); not into trivial obsessiveness; not the sit around type. Broken... Continue to value ongoing healing, a process...is there ever truly and end in this broken world. Press on to the higher calling of God. To be touched, renewed, changed by Gods love and our own, in touch with others.
Additionally I value:
Space to allow for mutual individuality; selflessness in contributing to another's well-being; men of high character and compassion, capacity to be in touch with ones own and others emotions/feelings; rural living with the conveniences of the city; achieving goals; water'anything' is one of my passions... swim, kayak, small jetboat , bonfire by the lake, learn to sail, watching and listening to waves, falls, rainstorms; candlelight; serene settings; motocross or a hike to a lush lost trail or mountain top adventure, wooded mossy or river side trails. Christian music, writing and dance; closeness & kindness; photography; art (mostly drawing, YEARS ago), landscaping, gardening, home renos; books on Personal growth, Christianity, health & wellness topics. Thought provoking drama or documentary, but I don't turn on TV at home as I prefer to be very selective finding "weighty' online or in person spirit filled Christian teaching, conferences, worship, and other such content.
I am not into:
games; nightclubs; infidelity, drinking; malls and high rises; fancy, crowded places and dressing up unnecessarily, superficial or church settings with religiosity rather than real relationship; vain religion, meditation or new age 'spirituality'.
There is more to life than focussing on material aquisition...which can be so easily lost, along with greater and inner wealth thereby.
My understanding is that a marriage built on greater levels of personal beauty and intimacy with one another and God, will present greater capacity for more sensitive and nurturing love.
To me, being a Christian means...You and I are loved by God irrespective of our many imperfections and shortcomings. We are all designed to KNOW, how deep and how wide is the Love of God in Christ Jesus. When we seek Him, we will find Him, when we search for Him with all our heart. May you know how much God loves you, desires to heal and set you (more) free.
Christianity is having asked Jesus Christ to be the Lord of ones life. Acknowledging more than the physical realm, inviting God the Father, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit to revive our spirit and soul. The best comes with connecting in relationship.
We all need to know that we are chosen and beloved by God. Out of that closer relationship, we receive deepening levels of healing, strength, value, gifted-ness, compassion, courage, love, wisdom, potential, talents, capacity, passion to laugh, cry and change things for the better.
Jesus' dialogue with His Father inspires me. Christianity and real life was designed to engage our faith, and capacity in practical wisdom and ways.
John 5:19, 20 Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner. 20"For the Fatherloves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will showHim greater works than these.."
John 13:1 "having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the uttermost.".
I value most....Gods love poured out on me and you...unmerrited
