A Marriage Partner
Do you drink?
Willing to relocate?
Possibly, who knows
Do you have children?
Yes but they're grown
Do you want children?
In my past relationships I have "settled". I intend to be involved in only one more relationship. I will not settle and I intend to make this relationship the one I have always dreamed about. Please don't misunderstand me ...... it is not all about me in fact I believe the more you give in a relationship (all things being equal) the more you get out of it. I long for the closeness and intimacy that I know belongs to a healthy relationship. I not only want to be known and accepted but to know that special person better then anyone else.
I just joined this site but I am very encouraged to see so many women proclaiming their love and devotion to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
I wish I could say that I have served the Lord all of my life but I cannot. Even though I was born again as a child. Jesus has never abandoned me through those tough times when I was away from Him.
I try to love God with all of my heart and would rather stay single for the remainder of my life rather then be out of the will of God.
I have lived a fairly rough life but that is behind me and now I am going forward and intend to fulfill the call that God has placed on my life. When I first returned to the Lord I was kind of discouraged because I felt that I had squandered so much of my life but God being the good God He is pointed out to me that Abraham was 75 when God called him out, Moses was 80 and Caleb was 80 years old when he said he wanted his mountain. So I'm in good company.
The woman I marry must put God first and foremost and all I ask is accept me for who I am. C'mon let's serve the Lord together.
I am very easy going, have a great sense of humour, I am playful, adventurous, spontaneous and very protective.
I love the outdoors, camping, hiking, bike riding, boating.
I got this from another member's profile but it is so good I had to share it.
HERE IS SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT AS A BELIEVER OF THE WAY....
...Jesus could have come and healed Lazarus when he was still alive. ~
Instead, He waited to raise him from the dead when he was already in his grave...
...God could have made David become king the day after he was anointed. ~Instead, He waited 15 years to rise to the throne, many of those years spent fearing for his life, hiding out and running away from his own father-in-law...
...God could have spoken to Moses in the desert about sending him to help free His people from slavery 40 days after he ran away from Egypt. ~ Instead, He made him wait for 40 long years...
...God could have gotten Joseph out of prison one year after he was sentenced there. ~ Instead, he was stuck in that dungeon for 10 years before he was finally set free...
...God could have given Abraham the son He promised him when he was still a young man. ~ Instead, He waited until he was 100 years old and because of physical reasons would have a more difficult time conceiving at that age...
...God could have answered prayers and met the needs of these men of God much quicker, but He didn’t. ~ He made them wait instead.~
..•¤**¤•.,And He often makes us do the same. .•¤**¤•
* It is during this period when nothing seems to be happening, when prayers seem to go unanswered, when God seems so far away that the most spiritual growth takes place in our lives. That we learn to become more like Him.
* It is during this time that we build spiritual “muscle”.
.•¤**¤•.That we grow in faith.
.•¤**¤•.That we learn to only depend on Him.
* What are you waiting for today?
.•¤**¤•.Wherever you are at today know that God is right beside you and that there is a purpose for you. Even if that purpose is to wait.
.•¤**¤•.Don’t give up just because you don’t see anything happening today.
.•¤**¤•.Maybe there is nothing physically happening that your eyes can see but there is definitely something happening in the spiritual realm as you learn to rely on Christ.
.•¤**¤•.Don’t allow your waiting period to make you hopeless about what tomorrow will bring.
Instead, let it build your faith and give you even greater hope for what God has prepared for you.
~ He made some of the greatest men of faith wait.
Don’t be discouraged if He makes you wait as well.
~ He will come through for you, just like He came through for them.
“Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.” – Psalm 27:14
