- I am a retired Federal employee, I worked in telemetry in the range department of a government weapons testing facility. I live in a small desert town, Ridgecrest, near my former workplace. I am interested in ham radio, classic cars, target shooting and other things. I ride a bike and walk on a regular basis to keep in shape. I am essentially a home body, I enjoy reading, going to movies or live theater and good conversation. I am a long time divorcee looking for a close relationship but fishing in a small pond! I am active in the local Presbyterian church and currently serving as a Deacon. My two children are grown and living in other states so I am home alone with just a cockatiel for company! I might also mention I am a native of New Jersey, I grew up there in the same town for my first 20 years. I have been in California for over 40 years now. :glow:
