- I have been a widow since 11/2014 after a wonderful 34-year marriage. My late husband and I were blessed with one child who means a world to us. I retired in 07/2015 after a really good 29 years working as Lab Technologist for ARC. I am family oriented. Love to spend quality time with immediate & extended families, here & abroad. I'm perceived by many as faithful, honest, trustworthy, hardworking, friendly, helpful, compassionate, dependable, respectful, sincere, kind, loyal, appreciative, affectionate, etc. (actually, I feel awkward citing all these qualities to describe myself because some people may find them a contradiction). I strongly maintain the core values instilled in me since childhood, and trying to lead by example which I found it essential when raising a child. Born and growing up in a third world country, I learned to greatly appreciate and enjoy simple things in life. I also consider myself loving, caring, generous, understanding and open-minded. I'm a little bit old-fashioned in some ways, moderately sensitive and a little shy, but can communicate really well. I love nature and being outdoors to stay active and fit. I would like to spend part of winter months somewhere in a warm climate, like my motherland. I volunteer/devote some of my free time doing charitable works, mostly church-related.
