- I live on the Hilo side of the Big Island. I am 46 years old and I spend most of my time either surfing or teaching surfing. I have my own surf school. I am also a musician, I have been playing guitar since I was 9 years old. I play many different styles of music, rock, blues, Hawaiian slack key, and for the last year a lot of jazz. This island seems to have everything that I need, good musicians, good surfing, good people.
