I am a widow (ten years) seeking relationship that will be lasting; the final relationship. I am a Christian and very honest. I do not smoke and could not abide someone who does--that's a nasty habit.
I have a son who is my only child. He was born with autism, is 30 years old, and is the apple of my eye. Whoever takes me on will have to know that he is mine to stay; we are a package.
I live a wonderful life in the beautiful country of west central Mississippi where I have lived for 29 years. I love it here because of the wildlife. I see the beautiful bluebirds, sparrows, and other song birds bathe in my birdbath. I see the deer wandering around in the yard and occasionally sipping from the bird bath. I hear the owls hooting at night and can often hear the raccoons playing, as well. We have beautiful pileated woodpeckers here, very rare these days; and, in the summer for about six months I have numerous beautiful ruby-throated hummingbirds to feed and admire for all their splendor.
I love to read and go to nice restaurants. I am very much a music lover and also enjoy old movies. My tastes in music range from oldie goldies to classical with a lot of Elvis Gospel.
If you were to meet me, you would be amazed at how young I appear. I have untouched, virgin, long dark brown hair with only a few threads of silver-grey.
My relationship with my wonderful husband was nearly perfect. We were together for 30 years before he tragically passed away one night in April over ten years ago.
I am looking for a man who is willing to not sweat the small stuff, someone who does not want to be in CHARGE of every last detail. I feel that a lasting, solid relationship should be based on God and that we should always cover each other's backs. I believe in loyalty, trust, and mutual respect. I love good intellectual, spiritual and even political conversation.
